
Warehouse fit-out for automotive client

Client brief: new warehouse purchase requiring additional electrical work, floor sealed and walls painted, car hoist installed and upstairs office for administration office and customer waiting area.

What we did: organised trades, suppliers, materials, permits, the timeline. Once permits had been approved, all trades and materials were arranged in order to complete the project within 15 business days in the most efficient manner.

Starting point: Empty new warehouse build, minimal electrical work, bare concrete walls and floor, no office.

All external work other than paint completed at day 11. Note as per client spec - support post 1200mm in to increase car hoist access.

As all exterior work completed days prior to project completion, final 3rd coat of floor covering able to applied and have full 48 hours to cure prior to handover.

Sealing of the floor. Client specified industrial 2 part epoxy used for longevity. Walls painted to same height as kitchenette/ablution room for cleaner and brighter look, and installation of car hoist. Additional electrical work completed in first week.

Interior plasterwork completed complete with electrical fit-out at day 12. Inclusive of NBN connectivity, air-con and concealed floor powerpoints.

Interior complete at the end of day 14, 1 day ahead of schedule. Final clean on morning of day 15 and ready for handover to the client on time.
